• The lack of suction control caused problems for some customers.  Those who had a home that was carpeted or floored throughout with no rugs had heaps of praise for this NV22L upright vacuum.  Those that had rugs talked of having to stand on the rugs and use the vacuum because the suction was so strong
• Good after sales customer support – some customers commented on their struggles to make themselves understood whilst speaking to staff with limited English language skills.
• Sometimes the vacuum motor would cut out especially if the vacuum had been used for prolonged periods

Whilst reading all of the reviews over at Amazon.com where I found this product to be cheapest, Amanda from Pennsylvania wrote “I was embarrassed after seeing what this vacuum got out of my rugs and carpets.  Apparently I might as well have not been vacuuming the past 10 years with my old Bissell. • Well it’s not great on wooden floors and that is because the brush roll cannot be turned off so may damage your wooden floors.  If you want an upright vacuum cleaner that does this, then you may want to have a look at this product’s close relation, the Hoover WindTunnel Pet UH50000 which has 3 additional features.
• If you only have carpet and want a product that gives an all over deep clean to your carpets, then this is the product you need.  If you have wood or laminate and can afford to pay that little bit extra, then my advice would be to get the other model, the WindTunnel Pet UH50000
• When dumping the canister, do it outside or into a trash can that is empty as it can make a bit of a mess.   This is a real minor factor when you consider the deep cleaning and price value you get with this real value for money upright vacuum cleaner
• A light may be useful but this is no big deal as only one reviewer out of 407 mentioned it!
• No shut off switch for the brush roll and this was mentioned in a few of the reviews I read.  Not a problem when you’re cleaning carpets but could be a problem for other types of flooring.
